The easiest way into Baton Rouge is by the Baton Rouge Regional Airport (BTR), but also convenient is the New Orleans (Louis Armstrong) International Airport (MSY), which is about 70 miles from LSU (1.5 hours by car). This might be an option for those of you who might want to spend a few nights in New Orleans sightseeing -- and often flights into New Orleans are cheaper than Baton Rouge. There is a somewhat expensive shuttle from New Orleans Airport to Baton Rouge (Runs Between New Orleans Airport and LSU -- Cost about $100 each way) but if the flight is that much cheaper it can be worth it to go this route.
